The tacos are to die for!! You get 3 of them, and they are good size! Mozzarella sticks are also a must-have they are made from fresh cut mozzarella!! Staff is super friendly, and the service is quick!! The restaurant itself is not very big but they have outdoor seating so that is a plus.
Just had the hamburger from Lakeview burger and seafood and I can’t believe I’m saying this but: this is the best hamburger in Lakeview. Toppings were abundant and fresh. The burger itself was perfectly cooked.
In my opinion, Lakeview Burgers & Seafood's chicken tenders are excellent. In my experience, the staff have always been polite, friendly, attentive, helpful, diligent, & kind. Imo, the portions are generous & the pricing reasonable (by today's standards).
Really small place inside, not a lot of great drink options, but...Food was great!!! Blackened shrimp tacos were amazing and the burger was pretty good too. We asked for it well done and they did it!! Mozzarella sticks were salty but good, and the fries were crisp and delicious! Highly recommend.
Went here on a whim and it turned out amazing! Got fried pickles, shrimp basket, and fried chicken tacos. You definitely pay for what you get, portions were a great size and food was delicious. If you’re on vacation like us I definitely suggest trying this place out!
my experience is with the Lakeview “Cuban” - a tasty-riffic full of a quality taste in each bite … “Keith” was my greeter and served me with professionalism and a smile … “Keith” hand delivered my “Cuban” to “Parlay’s” bar next door … a Smile-riffic Experience in professionalism & quality- with a SMILE “Run-A-Way Bill” was here! 12.12.25
We were there as tourists. Although we ended up there spontaneously, we just took an Uber from City Park to a nearest Po Boy place, we got the experience we were looking for :) This is definitely a great place to try New Orleans food. It is small, it has seats inside and outside. It has many Po Boys options as well as Gumbos. No hype around, just local, just delicious and not overpriced. Moreover, I prefer live conversations to googling. We asked a waiter about an origin of Po boy's name. He didn't remember and asked a guy in the kitchen, the guy didn't remember too. We were seating outside after our delicious meal waiting for an Uber, when a guy, probably the owner, came to us and told us the history of Po Boy! Isn't it the best experience you can get as a Cafe guest? And yes, the place is very affordable, that lefts no reasons not to go and check it out :)
